Rain. Cold rain.
We waited for it to stop.
Our makeup dripped down our faces. Our bodies shook from cold. Our feet squished in wet shoes.
We scared for less than an hour that night.
The rest of our time was spent sitting in the break area eating candy.
At least we got paid.
